My client sold an antique vehicle. The buyer hired a car transport company to deliver the vehicle from Aurora to California. My client relied on the directions of the transport employee of loading the vehicle. At the top of the ramp, he was directed to pull forward. The auto went over the front and flipped over landing on its top trapping my client. He suffered a fractured clavicle, injury to his neck and arm along with a closed head injury. His medical expenses were $44,304. He was required to reimburse $2,508 for services received. This case was settled in mediation.
