James was raised just a few blocks from the law office in Aurora. He worked in various roles at the office for 5 years before becoming a staff attorney. While obtaining his undergraduate degree in Spanish, he studied in Tlaquepaque, Mexico. As a member of Drury University’s SIFE team, he taught Business Ethics in a Spanish speaking school in Laredo, TX. During his time at Drury, he was chosen by Edward Jones for a community service project of installing  a clean water system in the Dominican Republic. His experience volunteering in the Big Brother / Big Sister program has been an asset while managing adoption cases.

Those who know James best, recognize the combination of having a good work ethic, and insatiable drive to figure out solutions to problems, and the drive to assist people throughout their problems making a great combination for being an attorney. He has argued a case in the Missouri Court of Appeals resulting in a verdict in favor of his client.

In James’ free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and physical fitness which is evident by competing in many marathons and tri-athalons.

Personal:

Married to Carissa, James and his wife enjoy outdoor activities especially running and biking. They love traveling and animals especially their dog Sadie. James has completed several marathons and triathlons. He loves to cook and is a certified “grill master”. He is a level __ Crossfit coach
